Dance on Film

"Thank You. Thank You. Thank You."

Director / Choreographer / Dancer: Luis "L.T." Martinez

Director of Photography: Allyson Becerril

A ritual farewell by Luis "L.T." Martinez.

Dedicated to Aaron Morgan (July 12, 1972 - June 4, 2021).

"whale"

Created by Liz Bustle

In Collaboration with Andrew Bustle

Music by Sufjan Stevens

"whale" is about mourning the absence of mourning. It's meant to be a brief peek inside a process that is often rushed or skipped entirely in the name of efficiency. Creating space to grieve is not remunerative, it isn't glamorous or Instagram-worthy, but it is completely imperative.

Producer: Ian Stahl

Cinematographer: David Marquez

Cilience's latest single, "Promises" was released on September 5th, 2020. Filmed just before the lock down orders were issued, creating this video was a labor of love and patience, fitting the song's ethos. Lyrically, the song is about wearing your heart on your sleeve and being accepted for who you are. This follows on the heels of the Event Horizon EP, which charted in the top 200 on National College Radio Charts. The music video, directed by Conor O'Sullivan, was selected for Glendale's historic Alex Theatre's 95th birthday celebration.
